Duterte siblings visit FPRRD in The Hague By Ivy Tejano

DAVAO CITY – Vice President Sara Duterte confirmed over the weekend that she and her siblings—Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte, acting Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte, and Veronica Duterte—visited their father, former president Rodrigo Roa Duterte, at the detention facility in The Hague, Netherlands.

Vice President Duterte said the visit took place after their father asked to see all four of his children together. She added that the schedule was arranged to fit Veronica’s school schedules.

“He, former President Duterte, told Kitty that he wanted to speak with all of us personally, so we arranged our schedule to make it happen,” Vice President Duterte said.

The vice president noted that her father was in good spirits during the reunion, where they discussed personal, family, and political matters, as well as current events and future developments.

She said her father remains in stable health, although medical staff are monitoring his blood sugar levels. She added that family members were advised not to bring him snacks, except for his preferred coke zero.

Vice President Duterte also said that Rep. Paolo Duterte gave their father a massage during the visit, which lasted more than an hour. “He massaged his foot, arms, back, and neck. Our father was happy and relaxed,” she added.
