Trillanes fake news exposed

An official from Ayala Alabang Village Association, Inc. confirmed that Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go has no property in Ayala Alabang Village.

“A search of the Association’s database/records was made, and it appears that there is no property in the village registered under the name of a certain Christopher Lawrence Go,” says village manager Emmanuel Adizon in a letter sent to the senator’s office.

Robert Reyes, Barangay Ayala Alabang secretary, expressed the same view: “We don’t have any record that Senator Go has property here. Any construction or acquisition of properties here ay dumadaan sa aming barangay, apart from Ayala Alabang Village Association.”

These statements debunked several malicious social media posts as well as the claim of Antonio Trillanes IV that Go owns or resides in properties located in the posh subdivision.

“Sa pagsubok na ating nararanasan ngayong panahon, itigil na sana ang bangayan at unahin dapat natin ang pagtulong sa ating kapwa Pilipino,” Go has consistently said.

He also previously mentioned, “Nakakahiya naman sa tunay na may-ari ng bahay. Kung gustong ipilit na akin ‘yan, sige, patunayan ninyo at inyo na ‘yan!”

Trillanes earlier said that Ayala Alabang properties are not listed on Go’s Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN). The latest accusation forms part of the political attacks made against Senator Go which started in 2018, recycled in 2021 and rehashed in 2024 until present.

In Senator Go’s official Facebook page, a recent post stressed: “Hindi rin naman ito pinaniwalaan ng milyun-milyon nating mga kababayan dahil ginawa pa ngang number one si Senator Bong Go ng mahigit 27 milyong Pilipino sa nakaraang 2025 senatorial elections dahil sa kanyang malasakit at serbisyo.”

Amid recent challenges the country is facing, Senator Go remains focused on serving those most in need of attention especially the poor and victims of calamities.

“Unahin natin ang pagseserbisyo, kaysa ang pulitika. Magmalasakit at tumulong tayo sa kapwa lalo na sa mga mahihirap at huwag sayangin ang oras sa fake news.”
