PROSPERIDAD, AGUSAN DEL SUR — Dedicated to championing Filipino talents and empowering youth athletes, DITO Telecommunity proudly stands as a sponsor of this year’s Palarong Pambansa – the country’s most celebrated youth sporting event in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd).
Through next-generation technological support and seamless connectivity, DITO is delivering an enhanced experience for all athletes, delegates, and spectators gathered in Agusan del Sur for what is already shaping up to be a landmark edition of the national games.
Under the rallying cry of “Ipakita ang Galing Dito, Galing ng Kabataang Filipino” the country’s fastest-growing telecommunications company reaffirms its commitment to Filipino youth, bringing with it a full-scale, on-the-ground activation that stretches across every corner of this historic event.
A Province’s Dream, Powered by DITO
For the people of Agusan del Sur, hosting the Palarong Pambansa is not merely a logistical achievement, it is a deeply personal victory three decades in the making.
The province, nestled in the Caraga Region and home to four major ethnolinguistic communities — the Manobo, Higaonon, Banwaon, and Talaandig — has transformed its agricultural heartland into a world-class arena for sport, culture, and youth excellence.
The Signal Behind the Story
Behind every live stream, every attendance scan, and every video call home from a homesick young athlete is DITO’s infrastructure working quietly and powerfully in the background.
DITO has deployed internet service across 17 billeting quarters and 17 game venues, keeping 10,718 student-athletes and 1,600coaches, 440 assistant coaches, and 489 chaperones connected throughout the event.Live streaming, powered by DITO, is enabled for 17 sporting events, bringing Filipino youth excellence to audiences across the country.
More Than a Telecoms Company — A True Enabler of Connectivity
The DITO Experiential Hub at the Patin-ay Sports Complex is open daily from May 24 to 31, where delegates, athletes, and spectators can explore DITO’s latest product offerings — including the DITO GameZone 99, WowFi Lite FWA, and the DITO Postpaid Plan 388— and walk away with exclusive Palaro 2026 co-branded freebies such as customized lanyards, fans, shirts, and tote bags.
“This is not just about telecommunications. This is about being part of something bigger than us. These young athletes have trained their whole lives for this moment. The least we can do is make sure the world can see them,” said Atty. Adel Tamano, DITO Chief Commercial Officer.
The Games Are Just Beginning
With Games Proper running from May 26 to 31* across 33 sports disciplines and 38 venues, and 20 delegations representing 18 regions, one foreign team, and the National Academy of Sports, the Palarong Pambansa 2026 is on track to be the most connected, most visible, and most celebrated edition of the national games in recent memory.
DITO will be there for all of it — live-streaming the moments, amplifying the stories, and ensuring that not one athlete’s achievement goes unseen.
The Palarong Pambansa 2026 runs from May 24 to 31, 2026, in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, with the Closing Ceremony scheduled on May 31 at the Datu Lipus Makapandong Cultural Center.
