Mark Ralph Banawa, marketing manager of Eden Cheese, said the Noche Buena Project is a campaign that has provided Filipino families with holiday meal packages annually since 2006.

“Over 23,000 families received Noche Buena packs last year, and the goal remains the same for 2024, including Davao,” Banawa said, adding that they aim to help 8,000 families in Mindanao.

World Vision Philippines’ resource development director Jun Godornes said the annual project aims to bring families something to enjoy a Christmas Eve meal together.

“This year, we are thrilled to partner with Eden Cheese to enrich this tradition further, providing families not just with food but a memorable holiday experience,” Godornes said.

Noche Buena tradition is deeply rooted in Filipino culture, symbolizing unity and celebration. It is a cherished moment that strengthens family bonds and captures the magic of Christmas.

Godornes said the identified families will receive groceries to prepare a meaningful Christmas Eve feast through this project, ensuring everyone can enjoy the season’s warmth.

“Eden Cheese has joined the mission to enrich the experience,” Banawa said.

Banawa added that Eden will contribute cheese to every purchase of “Bundle of Joy” packs on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop to complete a beneficiary’s Noche Buena package.

During the busking event here, attendees enjoyed festive music featuring performances by local artists John Ron Duron and Dave Dupriz, who delighted the audience with their musical talents.

Banawa said the World Vision Philippines and Eden Cheese are making this Christmas brighter for thousands of Filipino families, bringing hope, joy, and togetherness through the gift of a Noche Buena celebration.
