The New City Commercial Center (NCCC) Mall in Maa officially reopened Friday, December 20,2024, bringing back to life the first home-grown super mall in Davao City.

The mall first opened in December 2003 as the largest project of the corporation. It was the corporation’s second mall, after opening one in Tagum, Davao del Norte.
On December 23, 2017, a fire gutted down the shopping mall trapping at lesst 38 people mostly employees of the establishment. The entire building was later completely demolished to give way to a new structure. The NCCC Mall is located at the corner of MacArthur Highway and Maa road. (Story and Photo by Jeany Fe Codiale)
