There are so many tourist attraction sites in Taichung, the second largest city in Taiwan.

It’s considered to be a gateway for exploring Taiwan’s nature areas like Sun Moon Lake, and popular for boating and hiking. In the bustling city center are museums, temples and the ornate brick Taichung Station. But we took a break from nature tripping and went for a more fun, colorful and festive day tour in Taichung.

The Green Fantasy Forest was vibrant and enchanting. Every spot was perfect for those instagram-moment. This used to be an exclusive event place for pre-nups, birthdays and all-occasion photoshoots. But after the pandemic, the owner decided to open it to the public. A win-win move since basing on the daily influx of visitors, it’s proving to be a good investment. On the other hand, more people are able to experience the good and happy vibe it brings. The little girls in us had so much fun!

Another site that we enjoyed was the Zhongshe Flower farm, a sight to behold for flower lovers, like us. It houses different kinds and species of flowers as far as our eyes can see. They also have a nursery where visitors can buy seedlings, bulbs and cut flowers.

It was a day of fun, flowers, fotos and friendship!
