DAVAO CITY – Filipina actress, singer, and model Marydale “Maymay” Entrata recently delivered an empowering message to Davaoeños, reflecting on the beauty and her unforgettable journey to becoming part of Disney’s latest film project.
Maymay wowed the audience with her soulful rendition of “Nasaan Ang Hiling,” the Filipino version of “Waiting on a Wish,” the theme song from the upcoming Disney Snow White movie. The performance on Friday night, March 21, left hundreds of Davaoeños amazed and inspired.
She shared how being chosen to record the song was a dream turned reality, expressing her gratitude for the chance to lend her voice to such a meaningful piece — especially for Disney fans.
The actress also extended her heartfelt thanks to her vocal coaches and everyone who supported her throughout the journey. She emphasized that beauty shines from within and that determination and passion can make dreams come true.
“Beauty isn’t about what you see on the outside. It’s something found within — in how you treat others and how you strive to be a good person,” Maymay said in the local dialect, acknowledging her loved ones who were present.
The SM Lanang Premier Atrium Activity Center transformed into a whimsical, storybook-inspired venue — the perfect backdrop for the exclusive screening of the reimagined Snow White at SM Cinema in Lanang, Davao City.
Fans got to meet Maymay for photos and poster signings, and she stayed to watch the movie alongside her family, friends, and other special guests. Snow White, starring Rachel Zegler, Gal Gadot, and Andrew Burnap, is now showing in Davao cinemas.
