RTWPB-XI to hold public hearing on minimum wage determination in Davao Region

Davao City, Philippines – The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) – Region XI invites all interested parties to attend the public hearing on minimum wage determination for private sector workers and domestic workers in the Davao Region.

As stipulated in Republic Act No. 6727, or the Wage Rationalization Act of 1989, the respective Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards are mandated to conduct public hearings as part of the wage determination process.

The public hearing will be done simultaneously on-site and online. In-person attendance will be at the Grand Regal Hotel in Davao City while a Zoom video conference is set-up for those who will attend virtually.

The current minimum wage for private sector workers in Davao Region is Php 510 for non-agriculture workers and Php 505 for agriculture workers, by virtue of Wage Order No. RBXI-23, which took effect last March 7, 2025. For domestic workers, effective March 6, 2024 as stated in Wage Order No. RBXI-DW-03, monthly minimum wages rose to P6,000 in chartered cities and first-class municipalities and to P5,000 in other areas.

The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-XI is an attached agency of the Department of Labor and Employment.
