CEBU CITY, Philippines — The doors are officially open for Cebu Trio 2026, as
Worldbex Services International (WSI) kicks off four days of industry showcases, business opportunities, innovation, and collaboration at the IEC Convention Center
Cebu. Bringing together PHILBEX, MAFBEX, and Cebu Auto Show, the three-in-one
exhibition creates a dynamic meeting point for professionals, entrepreneurs, exhibitors, industry leaders, and visitors looking to explore the latest products, ideas, and opportunities across diverse sectors.
PHILBEX Cebu brings the construction and building community together in Cebu,
showcasing products, technologies, and solutions that support the city’s growing built environment and development. MAFBEX Cebu highlights Cebu’s vibrant food and hospitality scene, bringing together food products, ingredients, equipment, and
innovations that reflect the province’s thriving culinary and business community.
Meanwhile, Cebu Auto Show celebrates Cebu’s dynamic automotive culture, featuring
vehicles, automotive products, accessories, and innovations for the island’s growing
motoring community.
The grand opening ceremony brought together representatives from the government, organizations, and industry communities to celebrate the launch of one of Cebu’s major multi-industry gatherings. The program opened with a warm welcome to guests and participants, setting the stage to innovate, connect and expand.
Delivering the opening remarks, Ms. Jill Aithnie Ang, Managing Director of Worldbex Services International (WSI), welcomed everyone to Cebu Trio 2026 and underscored the value of bringing different industries together on one platform, highlighting the role of exhibitions in fostering connections, collaboration, and new opportunities that contribute to the continued growth of Cebu and Central Visayas. The opening ceremony also featured messages of support from distinguished
government officials, industry leaders, and partner organizations, including Board Member Lakambini “Neneth” Reluya, Chairman of the Committee on Commerce
and Industry, representing Hon. Glenn Anthony Soco, Vice Governor of the Province of Cebu; Dir. Angel C. Enriquez, CESO III, Regional Executive Director of the Department of Agriculture–Region VII; Dir. Mario N. Ruinata, Regional Director of BFAR–Region VII;
and Mr. Marlon Barrientos of the Tourism Regulations Division of the Department of
Tourism–Region VII. Their messages underscored the importance of strengthening local industries, fostering innovation, and building stronger connections among businesses, communities, and institutions to drive meaningful and sustainable growth. Together, these messages reaffirmed the vital role of businesses, entrepreneurs, professionals, and creative communities in positioning Cebu as a thriving hub for trade, business, and
industry in Central Visayas.
The ceremonial ribbon-cutting officially marked the opening of Cebu Trio 2026, followed
by a tour of the exhibition halls. Guests had the opportunity to explore a diverse range of exhibits featuring construction solutions, food and beverage products, automotive innovations, equipment, technologies, and other industry offerings. From product demonstrations to interactive displays and business conversations, the exhibition floor showcased the breadth of possibilities waiting to be discovered.
