Mobile Civil Registration Outlet Set Up at CDOCJ-MD to Aid Persons Deprived of Liberty

Cagayan de Oro City, January 10, 2025 — The Cagayan de Oro City Jail – Male Dormitory (CDOCJ-MD), under the leadership of City Jail Warden JSUPT MARLON J YMBALLA, DSC, extended its heartfelt thanks to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Service Office X, led by Regional Director Janith C. Aves, CE, DM, for responding positively to the invitation.

In a crucial move to enhance service delivery, the PSA set up a Mobile Civil Registration Service (CRS) Outlet at the CDOCJ-MD today, offering essential services to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) housed at the facility. The mobile outlet began operating at 8:00 AM, providing access to important PSA documents such as birth, marriage, and death certificates, along with other related civil registration services.

This collaboration is part of the continued efforts of both the CDOCJ-MD and the PSA to make public services more accessible, particularly for those who may have limited access to such resources. By providing PDL with the ability to obtain vital civil documents, the initiative aims to address the needs of individuals seeking to resolve legal and personal matters.

The presence of the PSA mobile outlet underscores a shared commitment between the two agencies to deliver effective services that empower PDL and contribute to their eventual reintegration into society.
