Singapore, 24 June 2026 — The Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS) has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with the Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC) and the Alliance for Renewable Electrification (ARE), marking a significant step in strengthening regional and international collaboration in support of clean energy development, business engagement, and market growth. Signed as part of SEAS’ business mission to Manila, Philippines, the two partnerships create new avenues for cooperation across renewable energy, energy efficiency, education, business matching, market development, and stakeholder engagement.

Signed on 8 June 2026, the MOU between SEAS and PNOC provides a platform for both organisations to collaborate through seminars, workshops, business matching sessions, and consultations on activities of mutual interest. The partnership also supports the exploration of collaboration opportunities in renewable energy, energy efficiency, carbon trading, financing, and project development, reflecting a shared interest in supporting the energy transition and stronger regional industry linkages.

“PNOC is fully committed to advancing the Philippines’ energy transition goals. However, achieving true sustainability requires strategic alliances that transcend borders,” said Atty. Graciela Barleta, Senior Vice President of PNOC. She described SEAS as an ideal partner, bringing together private-sector innovation, market intelligence, and technological expertise that can help accelerate the country’s transition to a more sustainable energy future.

Building on this momentum, SEAS and ARE signed an MOU on 10 June 2026 to strengthen cooperation in decentralised renewables for clean energy access and broader industry collaboration. The collaboration is expected to create new opportunities for SEAS members while supporting sustainability and economic development goals. A key focus of the partnership is the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and industry insights. By sharing developments, best practices, and market intelligence, the organisations aim to foster stronger cooperation among stakeholders and facilitate the growth of sustainable energy ecosystems

“Southeast Asia is among the most promising markets for renewable electrification globally, and partnering with SEAS gives ARE and our Members a stronger foothold in the region. Together, we can unlock real business opportunities, share knowledge, and help scale the solutions that will power ASEAN’s energy transition. We are genuinely excited about what this collaboration will deliver” said David Lecoque, CEO of ARE.

“Collaboration is key to accelerating the energy transition across the region. Through our partnerships with PNOC and ARE, SEAS aims to strengthen industry connections, facilitate knowledge exchange, and create new opportunities for sustainable energy development. We look forward to working together to drive meaningful impact for our members and the wider clean energy ecosystem,” said Kavita Gandhi, Executive Director of SEAS.

These MOUs represent an important milestone in strengthening sustainable energy cooperation between SEAS and its partners. SEAS, PNOC, and ARE look forward to fostering meaningful

partnerships that drive innovation, accelerate the energy transition, and deliver long-term economic and environmental benefits for the region.(PR)
