The Davao City Water District (DCWD) delivered 2,000 six-liter-bottles of drinking water for victims affected by recent earthquakes in Davao Oriental.

The DCWD Board chaired by Ed Bangayan along with the water district management headed by Mildred Aviles jointly made the decision as part of DCWD’s Corporate Social Responsibility program and in response to the appeal of the victims particularly those residing in Manay, the epicenter of the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that hit the province last October 10.
The water delivery was transported by DCWD’s relief fleet and turned over to the Davao Oriental Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office for distribution.
The donation is part of DCWD’s ongoing CSR Tubig sa Katawhan program to deliver aid to disaster-stricken areas.
