Sen. Bong Go keeps lead in all senatorial surveys

Senator Christopher “Bong” Go has steadily climbed to the top of the 2025 senatorial race, as shown by a consistent five-month upward trend in Social Weather Stations (SWS) surveys. From 32% in December 2024 to 45% in April 2025, Go’s continuous rise in voter preference affirms his growing national appeal and signals strong grassroots support as the midterm elections draw near.

The growth has been uninterrupted: 37% in January, 38% in February, 42% in March, and now 45%—a clear indication of sustained momentum.

Reacting to the survey, Go expressed gratitude to Filipinos across the country who continue to support his public service journey.

Go emphasized that the figures, while encouraging, are not a reason to relax but rather a sign to further intensify his work—particularly for the poor and underserved.

The senator also reaffirmed his commitment to healthcare reforms and pro-poor programs, pointing to his legislative track record as Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Health.

The April SWS results mirror and reinforce earlier findings from other independent research firms, which have consistently shown Go among the frontrunners. The March 2025 Pulse Asia survey placed him at 61.9%, up from 58.1% in February and 55.7% in January, further validating his rise from previously trailing in second or third positions late last year.

Publicus Asia’s Pahayag 2025 First Quarter survey likewise confirmed Go’s dominance in both aided and unaided awareness, recording 45% and 17%, respectively. OCTA Research’s Tugon ng Masa survey conducted from March 18 to 24 also showed Go leading with 64%—a steady increase from 62% in February and 58% in January.

While acknowledging these rankings, Go remained focused on delivering tangible results over electoral positioning.

“Ang pagtulong at pagserbisyo ay dapat tuloy-tuloy, walang pili at walang halong pulitika,” he stressed.

He also extended his thanks to supporters of the “DuterTEN” coalition, which seeks to carry on the policies and governance style of former President Rodrigo Duterte.

With just over a year until the midterm polls, the SWS trend line not only confirms Go’s rising voter base but also reflects the deepening resonance of his grassroots-driven approach, particularly in health care, disaster response, and livelihood programs.

Go who is known as Mr. Malasakit for his compassionate service to Filipinos in need.
