The owner of Aurora Premium Cattle Inc. Ranch is Aurora, Isabela has offered to accept Young Farmer Interns who would like to learn about modern Cattle Farming.
APCI President Richard Tan, who also owns the biggest rice milling facility and a rice hull-generated Power Plant, granted my request that Young Farmers who are joining are Cattle Production Program be accomodated as interns in the facility.
He said the housing facilities will be provided to the Young Farmers under the Internship Program.
Under the Young Farmers Cattle & Sorghum Production Program, we require participants to undergo at least a month-long OJT or internship program before we endorse them for project financing with government financing institutions.
Under the program, Young Farmers coming from the same town or province are encouraged to organize so that they could start their own. Cattle Program, especially the high-value Wagyu.
When the Young Farmers are organized, we will link up with the Local Govt. Unit where they are located to build a Cattle Feedlot Facility.
The Young Farmers will also be assisted to lease lands where they could grow Forage, Corn or Sorghum, to feed their Cattle.
Our team will assist them individually in accessing loans from a GFI which offers up to P4-M per Young Farmer with 3% and 7-Year Repayment Period.
To ensure repayment, we will provide the Young Farmers a Marketing Agreement for the Cattle Production.
My Advocacy Team and I have designed this program hoping that this will address Youth Unemployment while boosting the economy and food production.
